Overview

The OnePlus 13 is a large Android flagship built around two numbers: a 6000 mAh battery and 100 W wired charging. It pairs those with a 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED at QHD+, the Snapdragon 8 Elite, and up to 16 GB of RAM. If your complaint about modern phones is that they run flat by evening and take an hour to refill, this is the sheet that answers it.

The battery-and-charger pairing is genuinely unusual. 6000 mAh is 20 percent more capacity than a Galaxy S25 Ultra and nearly 30 percent more than a Pixel 9 Pro, and it refills at more than double the Samsung's rate and roughly four times the Pixel's. That combination changes how you use the phone rather than just how long it lasts: a fifteen-minute charge before leaving the house is enough to matter, which makes overnight charging optional rather than mandatory. Wireless charging at 50 W is faster than most phones manage over a cable.

The rear cameras are three 50 MP modules — wide, telephoto, and ultrawide — which puts OnePlus in the same evenly-matched-sensors camp as Xiaomi, and means zoom and ultrawide shots hold up better than on phones that pair one good sensor with two weak ones. It is a strong camera system without being the class leader; the Xiaomi and Oppo flagships in our catalog carry more hardware.

IP68 and IP69 together is a stronger ingress claim than most rivals, which list IP68 alone. The second rating covers high-pressure hot-water spray in the IEC standard. It is a real laboratory result, but it is not permission to take the phone swimming, salt water is outside every one of these tests, and liquid damage is commonly excluded from warranty regardless of what the badge says.

OxygenOS 15 is the Android layer. It is worth knowing that OnePlus is now closely tied to Oppo — shared platforms, shared software engineering — and OxygenOS has converged substantially with Oppo's ColorOS. If your impression of OnePlus software is from the brand's early years, it is out of date. Update commitments have improved but do not match Google's or Samsung's flagship policies; check the current policy for your region.

USB-C 3.2, Wi-Fi 7, and no headphone jack match the 2025 flagship pattern. Storage is soldered with no card slot, in 256 GB, 512 GB, and 1 TB configurations as announced. The Alert Slider, the physical mute switch the brand was known for, has come and gone between generations — check the specific model rather than assuming.

Who it is for

The right choice if battery life and charging speed are what actually frustrate you about phones. Nothing else in our catalog combines 6000 mAh with 100 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, and the practical effect — that a short top-up is genuinely worth doing — is more noticeable in daily use than most spec differences. It is also strong value: flagship silicon and a competitive three-camera system at a price below the Samsung and Apple flagships.

Not a match if you want a compact phone; at 6.82 inches and 210 g this is firmly in the large class. Not a match if you want the very best camera hardware, where the Xiaomi 15 Ultra and Oppo Find X8 Pro carry more. And if long-term software support is your priority, Samsung and Google both publish stronger commitments — that is the clearest thing you give up for the money you save.

How it compares

Against the Galaxy S25 Ultra, the OnePlus costs several hundred dollars less and beats it outright on battery and charging. Samsung answers with a second telephoto camera, the S Pen, a longer update commitment, and far wider availability and service. For many buyers the price gap decides it.

Against the Pixel 9 Pro, this is hardware against software. The OnePlus wins on battery, charging, chipset performance, and screen size by clear margins. The Pixel wins on camera processing and on update policy, and it is the only one of the two you can use one-handed.

Against the Oppo Find X8 Pro — effectively a corporate sibling — the two are close. Oppo has more camera hardware and a slightly smaller battery; OnePlus charges faster and is easier to buy in more markets.

Questions

Fast charging creates more heat, and heat is the main thing that ages a lithium battery. Manufacturers add charge-rate and thermal controls to manage it, but long-term wear still exists. We report the advertised wattage, not a lab endurance test.

No. This is an informational page only — no cart, no stock, no affiliate checkout.

IP69 covers high-pressure and hot-water spray in the IEC standard, on top of the dust-tight and immersion protection IP68 describes. Neither is a substitute for common sense around salt water, and liquid damage is often excluded from warranty regardless of rating.

It is roughly 20 percent more capacity than a Galaxy S25 Ultra and nearly 30 percent more than a Pixel 9 Pro. Combined with 100 W charging, the practical change is that short top-ups become useful, so overnight charging stops being mandatory.

Much less than it used to be. OnePlus and Oppo share platforms and software engineering, and the two skins have converged substantially. If your impression of OnePlus software comes from the brand's early years, it is out of date.

That has varied between generations, so check the specific model rather than assuming. We list the sensors and physical features we have verified for the configuration on this page.
